Davis UT coach Corbin Talley takes job at Weber State

The architect of the powerful cross country and track and field powerhouse at Davis High in Utah has taken over at Weber State University in Ogden, his alma mater.

Corbin Talley's teams at Davis have won 23 Utah Class 5A titles since he started coaching at the Kaysville school in 2002. Davis has been a fixture at Nike Cross Nationals and his boys and girls teams have combined for five top-five finishes.

According to the Weber State news announcement, Talley will coach the men's cross country and track teams at the university and veteran coach Paul Pilkington will helm the women's programs.
